What a productive day, 80 degrees coming next week!

We got a lot done this past Saturday. Thanks to the seven people that showed up and put in a solid effort. The hull was wet sanded and all but one coat of the gel coat restorative were completed. The head was completely scrubbed and Gyt finished installing the berths. Andy capped the day by setting the helm. It is starting to look like a boat again.

We anticipate excellent weather this coming weekend. It is still important to have as many hands as possible for the final weekend. Please let me know if you will be attending.

The work list:
  • Fantastik gel coat and apply step 3 of restorative process
  • Re-install grab rails - bring more 3m 5200
  • Re-caulk u-bolt on pole tip
  • Finish digging out caulk from deck joint, clean and apply sikaflex
  • Check mainsheet blocks for cracks, if spar up rig boom...etc...
  • If spar up, rig halyards.
  • Load all essential gear for delivery. Sails, lines, halyards etc......
  • Complete Head Through Hull
  • engine control cover
  • grab rail measurements
