It is that time of year again! The 2011 Mac Race will begin on Saturday July 16th at 1220pm CST for Vytis. Our crew will consist of Tomas, Gytis, Keith, Andy, Steve, Mike and Antanas for his first!
There are a number of ways you can understand what is going on. The Chicago Yacht Club is requiring all boats to have the transponder again and you will be able to track our position all the time. We are in the J105 Section. I also have some cool new toys to play with. Take a look at the track I posted below from the Waukegan. I am hoping to be able to post a full track of the race once completed. There is always new information posted on the Chicago Yacht Club Mac Page as well.
You can track the weather forecast for the Southern Half of Lake Michigan and the Northern Half of Lake Michigan.
I have the blogger application on my phone and if I have good enough reception will update from the race and the island so check back in often!
