The crew of Vytis finished in second place due to losing a tie breaker in the Commodore Cup hosted by Chicago Yacht Club. Conditions were challenging with a wide range of wind direction and speeds. After taking a hard fought bullet in the first race against Hull 673 we took a close second to the same boat in race 2. A hearty thanks to Ryan and Tim for joining us and helping out on such a beautiful day.
Our two finishes will help significantly in the season standings which should be published soon. We are currently in 4th place but may have jumped to 3rd or 2nd; and will most likely have an opportunity to challenge for 2nd or 1st in the last race of the year next Saturday.
